remember the days when parents could use the old “you’ll ruin your eyesight” excuse to stop kids spending too much time on games consoles? Well not any more. It turns out a new US study has found video games can actually improve vision – or at least one specific part of it.

Sony sells 50m PSPs
The PlayStation Portable never really grabbed me (I’m more of a DS kind of girl) but clearly someone is buying it. According to Sony, they’ve now sold 50 million units.

Remember when Sony boss Kaz Hirai told us all we’d want to get second jobs to buy the PS3? Turns out these days most people prefer to keep that second job for things we actually need, like paying bills. Sony is feeling the effects of the global recession.
