So Blackout Ireland has started, and there’s a few blacked out avatars on Facebook and Twitter. I’ve yet to see how many people wrote to their ISPs and TDs to lodge their objections. Danny O’Brien writes about it in todays Irish Times.


Irma’s approach to stamping out copyright infringement is winning fans all, it seems. Following the news that Irma was seeking to block Irish Internet users’ access to some websites, a new campaign has started to show Irma and the ISPs just how unhappy Irish net users are with the situation.
